18 Bronzed Baddies Descend on Bali: How to Make a Group Trip a Success!

Bali—an island of breathtaking beaches, lush jungles, and endless adventure. Now imagine 18 bronzed baddies arriving to soak up every ounce of what Bali has to offer. The first few days has been nothing short of spectacular, and I'm here to spill the secrets on making a group trip like this one a massive success!

  • Set the Vibes

The people you travel with can make or break the trip! Our crew of 18 fabulous ladies is a mix of adventure-seekers, relaxation enthusiasts, and fun-lovers who know how to roll with the punches. When planning your own group trip, gather a crew who is open-minded, ready for anything, and brings nothing but good vibes. The right energy can turn any trip into an epic adventure!

  • Book Jaw-Dropping Accommodations

A memorable trip starts with a fabulous place to stay. We kicked things off in style by choosing Ayana Resort Bali, complete with 14 gorgeous pools, incredible spas, 26 restaurants, lush gardens, and plenty of insta-worthy shots. Choose a place that feels like your own private paradise—somewhere you can relax, celebrate, and enjoy each other's company. Bonus points if there’s a pool with a view!

  • Plan, but Keep it Loose

While having a few planned activities is great, don’t overdo it! Our itinerary included a mix of planned events like sight seeing, a Balinese cooking class, and a Gili Island Tour & Snorkeling Adventure, with lots of free time in between. Leave room for spontaneity—whether it's a last-minute scooter ride through rice paddies or a hidden beach you stumble upon. Some of our best moments have been completely unplanned. From spontaneous beach bonfires to random new friendships made over fresh coconuts, the best experiences often come when you least expect them.

  •  Embrace the Local Culture

Part of the magic of travel is immersing yourself in a new culture. We kicked off our Bali trip with a traditional blessing ceremony, followed by exploring local markets, learning some basic Bahasa, and indulging in delicious street food. Connecting with the local culture enriches your experience and adds depth to your adventure. Dive in, try new things, and be open to the unexpected!

  •  Eat, Drink, and Enjoy Every Bite

Food is a universal language, and Bali speaks it fluently! From fresh tropical fruits to the best nasi goreng around, we’ve been eating our way through the island. Find the local food gems, savor every bite, and don't forget to cheers with a cocktail (or two)!

  • Make Time for Self-Care

Just because it's a group trip doesn’t mean you can’t have your solo moments. We made self-care a priority with plenty of spa sessions, beachside meditation, and downtime by the pool. Remember, everyone needs a little “me time” to recharge. A balanced mix of fun and relaxation will keep the group happy and refreshed.

  • Capture the Moments, But Stay Present

Yes, we’re taking a ton of photos, but we’re also making sure to enjoy the moment. Designate an unofficial trip photographer so everyone can stay present and let the memories happen naturally. Remember, some of the best moments aren’t staged—they just happen.

  •  Explore Beyond the Hotspots

We decided to go beyond the typical tourist attractions to discover Bali’s hidden gems. From private boat trips to Nusa Penida to wandering less-explored rice terraces, we’re finding the magic in every corner of the island. Dare to step off the beaten path, and you might just find your own slice of paradise

  • Leave Room for the Unexpected

Some of our best moments have been completely unplanned. From spontaneous beach bonfires to random new friendships made over fresh coconuts, the best experiences often come when you least expect them. Keep your plans flexible and let the island work its magic.

To all the adventurous souls out there: if Bali isn’t on your radar yet, make it your next stop. And when you do, bring your best crew, keep your plans loose, and be ready for anything!

Until then, may your travels be filled with sunshine, surprises, and endless good vibes. 🌞✨
